A Glimpse into the Project

Located in the verdant suburb of Castle Hill, this unique L-shaped patio is a true testament to the mastery and creativity Sydney Patios brings to each project. Designed carefully, the patio seamlessly integrates into the back of the house, providing homeowners with a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor space.

Masterful Use of Materials

The team used top-grade materials throughout the project to ensure a beautiful and functional outcome. The Spacemaker 75mm Insulated Roofing was a crucial component in the design, offering the ideal blend of durability and superior thermal performance. This innovative roofing solution significantly reduces heat transmission during hot summers and minimises condensation risks during winter, ensuring year-round comfort.

Regarding structure, we installed SHS150 Aluminium Posts, bringing strength and increasing the aesthetic. These posts are highly resistant to weather conditions, making them ideal for the outdoor environment.

For water management, we installed Custom 200mm gutters and Stratco Coloured PVC downpipes. These elements blend with the aesthetics and ensure efficient water drainage during wet weather.

Engineered T6 aluminium beams were incorporated into the design, providing additional support and stability. These beams offer the best of both worlds: lightweight for easy handling during installation and extreme strength for long-lasting durability.

In a particularly clever design decision, we used double aluminium beams wrapped with Alucobond to achieve the extra span single beam could not. This intelligent move significantly improved the patio’s aesthetics, a touch the owners appreciated.

Exclusive Design Features

Our unique back-channel method was employed on the right side of the patio, eliminating visible fasteners for a clean, sleek appearance. A fly-over system was used on the left side, adding a dynamic and modern touch to the overall design.

For a bit of ambience, we installed down lights in the ceiling. These lights provide adequate illumination for evening relaxation or entertainment without being harsh or intrusive.

Colour Palette

In keeping with the modern aesthetic, the owners chose Monument as the colour scheme for this job. This dark, brooding hue added a touch of sophistication and elegance to the patio, complementing the contemporary design.
